Their ClimateTheir climate was hot summers and harsh cold winters. The land was mostly plains, prairies, and rolling hills.
The Lakota's Occupations (Jobs)The Lakota's moved around the region to hunt for buffalo. To help them move from place to place they used their horses and buffaloes. They were also hunters, horseman, and warriors.

The Lakota's TransportationThe Lakota's rode on horses and walked to get from place to place. They would also take down their tepees, wrap the cloth around the poles, and place their belongings on top of the "sled" and let the buffalo drag their items to the next place.
